We are the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local Union 129 - we represent the inside electrical workers in the area since 1916. As a local union, we bargain collectively with our employers over wages, benefits, and rights. In unity there is strength. Get Certified
Local 129 has an exciting opportunity to get our members trained and certified in Electric Vehicle Infrastructure construction. The IBEW International office has made a commitment to the Biden Administration to provide the workforce needed to install the upcoming EV Infrastructure projects. The projects will require the electricians to have the Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Training Program (EVITP) certification.
